How I collect, use and look after your personal information.

Last updated: 23 October 2026

Who I am

Dash Destinations is an independent travel agency run by Peter Brook, working with InteleTravel. For anything to do with your personal information, email peter@dashdestinations.co.uk.

What I collect

  • Details you give me in the enquiry form or by email or Facebook message: your name, email address, phone number and the holiday details you send (dates, destinations, number of travellers, children’s ages, budget and any notes).
  • If you go on to book: the details needed to make the booking, such as the names and dates of birth of everyone travelling, passport details where a supplier requires them, and contact and payment information.
  • If you tell me about special requirements, such as dietary or accessibility needs, I’ll only use these to arrange your holiday, with your agreement.

How I use it

  • To reply to your enquiry and send you holiday options (on the basis that you asked me to).
  • To make and manage your booking (to perform a contract with you).
  • To keep records I’m legally required to keep, such as booking and accounting records.

I won’t add you to a marketing list or send you newsletters unless you’ve asked me to, and I never sell your information.

Who I share it with

  • Travel suppliers such as tour operators, cruise lines, airlines, hotels and lodge providers, only when needed to quote or book your holiday.
  • InteleTravel, the host travel agency I book through.
  • Service providers who help me run the website and email, for example the website host, which processes enquiry form submissions on my behalf.

Some suppliers are based outside the UK, for example a hotel abroad. Where your details are sent overseas, it’s only to arrange the holiday you’ve asked for.

How long I keep it

If you make an enquiry but don’t book, I’ll delete your details within 12 months. If you book, I keep booking records for as long as the law requires, usually up to 6 years after you travel.

Your rights

You can ask me to give you a copy of your information, correct it, delete it, or stop using it. Just email me. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk), though I’d appreciate the chance to sort out any concern first.
